I am looking for something simple yet authentic to cook for a large family. I don't want it to be so strange for them that they wont like it, but it should be something new and different for them. There are two vegetarians which makes it more complicated. Ideas so far are grilled fish, rolled cabbage, tonkatsu and okonomiyaki. But grilled fish and tonkatsu aren't exclusively Japanese.
