comment What does the clock-like symbols under plastic containers mean?
Pretty sure it indicates manufacturing date. They do it this way because it's easier to rotate a dial on a plastic mold than to change numbers.

The cup is certainly not so old so as to have lead-containing glaze. I wasn't sure if the damage was in the glaze or the underlying ceramic.
