I have worked in a technical support role for several industries and love the problem-solving aspects of my work as well as helping clients maximize their productivity.

A life-long curiosity drives my interests ranging from creative writing, photo-editing, music, problem-solving puzzles such as sudoku, cooking and baking, all types of crafting, sewing and yarn arts, creative resources on the internet and learning new apps for my favorite toy...my iPhone.

comment How could buffalo chicken dip be stabilized?
It looks yucky but tastes so good! Buffalo wing sauce is basically butter and hot sauce so to me the dip looks like wing sauce, except creamier.

Is the recipe named "mushroom soup" or something similar to imply the other vegetables are only there to flavor the broth? Is there another recipe in that book where the vegetables are processed and returned to the soup? If so, I would agree with your idea that those vegetables do not become part of the final product.

comment What is sour cream called in Hindi?
Well, that's a possibility, of course, but my version of Google does not find the word "makkani". Did you mean "makhani" and if so, does that mean "khatti makhani", or sour butter is the same substance as sour cream?

Could you include your source, Spicy? Others including myself would love to have that resource. Thanks! :-)

comment Unroasted coffee beans in the pantry, several years old: roast, toss, or other use?
I don't know about unroasted beans but coffee grounds are good for a compost pile.

@HenrikSöderlund, excellent picture of big-holed bread! I can almost taste it!

Isn't that like french bread? Maybe the kind that comes in long skinny loaves that has a crisp crust? I found the whole "hole" discussion fascinating actually! :-)
