Normally this happens to me with breads that I haven't left finishing baking or cooling all the way. Are you sure you're not pulling the loaf out too early?

@rumtscho I disagree here -this is an example where it points out that heavy cream soups often need lots of salt and that soups in general need salt . The recipe posted is just an example of something with no nearly enough salt - and that's common.
