Whiskey inside a metal flask for a month. Safe for drinking? Whiskey in the US is commonly "80 proof," which is 40% alcohol by volume. I'd be interested to know if there are other places where whiskey is commonly 80% alcohol, as then I'll feel cheated. I did find reference to one even stronger, Bruichladdich Though that is scotch whiskey. |
