comment Is it possible to cook a whole fish in a dishwasher?
Beware of Jet Dry with this. You might not put soap in, but if you've got a reservoir of shine agent it'll definitely get in the food if it's not in a sealed bag.

comment Cooking away alcohol
Inaccurate. After 15 minutes of simmering, 40% of alcohol is retained. After 2.5 hours, 5% is still present. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/…

Not wearing a hat would dissipate heat much faster.

Wiki says camembert must be aged at least three weeks while brie must be a week or more. Similar tastes, different regions.

comment Parsley: flat-leaf or curly?
I find that the Simply Organic dried parsley has pretty good taste. Not sure what they do with it, but it's green where every other dried parsley I've seen is mostly brown/yellow.

comment The difference between green, red and yellow bell peppers
I have to disagree. When I go to the greenhouse, they sell different colour variants. The peppers sold as "green peppers" don't turn red. The "red" / "yellow" / "orange" peppers I've bought go through a green phase but aren't ripe until they turn the colour on the tag.

comment The difference between green, red and yellow bell peppers
Agreed with @rschuler - when I go to the greenhouse, they sell different colour peppers - red, green, yellow, various unusual heirlooms. A green pepper won't turn red, but a red pepper does go through a non-ripe green phase.

Also, even if it wasn't, public perception would play a role. Plenty of people think it matters.
