comment Uncooked lasagna - back of car for 4 days?
Yes, I'm aware that the other question is about "cooked food". But functionally, that doesn't change the answer much here. Unfortunately, I think your answer will be a broad NO. This is a duplicate question that comes up semi-frequently in different forms. From the other question, "The safe limit for raw or cooked food is 2 hours in the danger zone (40-140° F or 4.4-60° C)." From a food safety perspective, the answer will always be NO. Are you guaranteed to be sick if you eat it, well no. But that isn't the question here.

comment What is the difference between traditional Mexican cooking and Tex-Mex?
I'm not debating your answer, but there's a few things that I'm not clear about from reading your answer. You've used the word "spice" in at least 3 different ways in the first few lines of your answer, in terms of heat, as in actual spices (like cumin) as well as for Cilantro, which is technically a herb. Also, it appears you're suggesting Mexican food is blander than Tex-Mex, but in your third sentence you suggest they use "a lot of flavorful, but not hot spices". It seems those contradict a bit?

comment Can I substitute a stainless steel pot for the traditional iron dutch oven?
I was going to post an answer, but I don't really have any facts regarding the need for extra precaautions, or what difference it'll make in the final product. As an alternative you can also use a casserole dish, clay pot or the insert from a slow cooker.
