Coloring colored ice-cream depending on the quantity needed, you can use two plastic bags with ice and salt in between them. makes for a tasty chemistry experiment as well. |

To freeze or not to freeze? I do this same sort of thing when making eggplant parmesan. |

Why is water often added to the eggs when making omelettes? I find that water makes watery omelettes, where milk makes a much richer omelette. I prefer to use heavy cream if I have it around. Water certainly makes a healthier omelette... |

Why put a stone in the soup? I've often wondered whether the stone was supposed to add saltiness as, historically, salt was quite a commodity. I could see it being helpful for even heat distribution if the stone was heated up first. |

How do I cut an oreo? I was using a very sharp blade, but I did start over the oreo rather than on it. |

How do I cut an oreo? @Joe, they're lying on top of the cupcake as "arms" of a panda bear. I'd add a picture, but I can't seem to find one. |

Cooked whole chicken has congealed blood around joints and bones, should I worry? if you can get over the look, marrow is quite delicious. |

Adolescent camping food menu Spaghetti, tinfoil the meatballs/sauce, boil the noodles. Lots of mushrooms and onions in the sauce, maybe even peppers. |
