Are nectarine seeds edible? Cyanide is just HCN, an inorganic compound. Benzaldehyde is an organic compound with a benzene ring. How can the latter be a by-product of the former? |

Grilling burgers: flip once, or keep flipping? I prefer even cooking as well, but my father-in-law likes to put his steaks on the grill from frozen, specifically to enhance the bullseye effect. To each his own? I guess that's a +1 for pointing out the different effects each method gives and that it's a matter of preference |

How can I use these new findings on tomatoes to my advantage? To be fair, I read a few reports of the same study, and it was based on the whole that I came to understand the study to be saying that the same gene that is responsible for uniformity also causes the flavor to be dulled. I'll change my link to another article that makes this clearer. |
