Chocolate Chip Key Lime Pie? I could have checked to see if there were recipes out there. I wondered if someone had tried it and had an opinion. It's not the same thing as taking a bite of regular Key Lime pie and then a bite of chocolate to chew together. The chocolate should melt and change the characteristics of the surrounding pie as it is baked. It might stay intact or slightly diffuse into the pie filling. I have not tried it yet, only because there is only so much Key Lime pie that one person can eat in a short period of time. Has anyone tried it and are there any specific suggestions for good result? Thanks. |
