Repairing the Seasoning on a Cast Iron Pan That's what I ended up doing. I did indeed get a lumpy/uneven season. I'll try sanding it down. The old seasoning was from the manufacturer, so, go figure :) |

Repairing the Seasoning on a Cast Iron Pan Yes, precisely. I know I can restrip and reseason from scratch, but that's a lot of energy usage, so if there's a way to just patch my seasoning, I would prefer that. |

Fixing a Brownie Brick No worries. I didn't mention it on purpose -- nor did I DV any of the answers that mentioned this. |

Fixing a Brownie Brick Thanks @Jay, that's what I gathered from reading some related questions. Erring on the side of undercooked, plus a thick layer, seems to be the trick. |

What can I do with ginger syrup? @Jefromi really? That's surprising. I got a pretty good slap in the face when I had a question that smelled like a "what can I do with ..." question. Good to see things are changing. |

How to bake a chicken? I'm curious to know why you let the chicken sit outside for two hours before baking it. I usually put mine straight from defrosting into marinade then into the oven. |

How can I get brownies to bake evenly? You can always invest in a convection oven. The fan tends to even out the temperature a bit more. |

Fixing a Brownie Brick @rfusca I want to soften up an already existing brick. I would like to know what I did wrong so I don't do it again. |

Fixing a Brownie Brick I tried dunking it in my tea before eating it, but it didn't soften it up much. |
