I am a political science student at Haverford College, an amateur cook (http://181c.wordpress.com), an enthusiastic traveler (http://hostelhopping.wordpress.com), and an unexpected techie.

comment Tzaziki: the drink, not the sauce
It wasn't Sambuca--I have friends who were there and can confirm that it was call tzaziki. It was a clear cocktail, if that helps.

comment Pre-made seasoning to add to rice in rice cooker to make rice more flavorful?
This isn't a dry seasoning, hence adding it in comments instead of answers: you can use coconut milk for all or part of the water when you're cooking rice. It gives the rice a hint of coconut flavor and makes it soft and creamy. You can add a bit of cinnamon for some extra flavor. It works really well with Thai or Indian food. Rice (made with water) with cinnamon is good too.

comment substituting white all purpose flour with wheat all purpose flour
@Peter Shor, that's probably a better solution. I don't have a kitchen scale, but I've seen 7/8 wheat=1 white, and that probably compensates similarly. Scales are always the most accurate, but volume persists in American cooking...
