Why put cinnamon in chili? @WayfaringStranger strong coffee is a common way to make a quick mole sauce and would be a fantastic addition to chili (my wife doesn't do any caf though so it's out for me :(). |

What should I use to build a parrilla? @ItayMoav-Malimovka if you can't find anything you like, then getting a local craftsman to weld you one from cast iron shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure to season it properly (the same way you'd season a cast iron pan). |

What do I need to get started with American style Barbecue? I'd definitely echo the Weber Kettle recommendation. It's a great first grill (heck, it's a great only grill). You can use it for grilling and smoking (I even smoke on the 47cm model). And it's a cinch to get set up and clean. |

How should chuck roast be grilled to maximize tenderness? The methods from the blog post here are basically the same ones I'd use for chuck. |

Why put cinnamon in chili? We use both cinnamon and cocoa powder in our chili, but we don't sweeten it, the cinnamon provides a different spice profile and the cocoa powder deepens the flavor. |

How do I use a French Press to make coffee? @citizen it's a simple question that merits a really good answer (making good french press coffee is not intuitive and the instructions don't really go into the details). |

What preparation is done to banana peppers? @Yamikuronue definitely ask your gardening supplier (or do some research) to help you find a milder cultivar (and also look into things like soil chemistry, moisture and other things that will affect capsicum production in peppers) if you're going to grow your own. |

What preparation is done to banana peppers? Most commercial banana peppers are pickled, however they are quite good on things unpickled (they taste like peppers). How hot they are depends on cultivar and also perhaps on pollination (Gardening & Landscaping might be helpful with more specifics on this). I've grown some that are very mild and have been given some that are very hot. |

How long should I wait until I put new jars in? Didn't have a chance to come back the other day, but this worked perfectly, no broken jars and they seemed to seal just fine |
