Is it safe to eat food that was heated in plastic wrap to the point the plastic wrap flamed? Generally, plastic isn't good to eat and there is almost certainly some on your salmon. If it was a life and death survival situation, I'd eat the part that wasn't touching the plastic. But if you have a toaster oven, it's probably not a life and death situation... Chuck it... |

What's the difference between chutney and relish? What I ate was more savoury so I thought "Chutney". When I've had relish it's been less chunky and sweeter, but you say relish is sweeter? Does the tomato content of relish constitute "fruit"? What do you mean by "jammier". |

Lots of liquid in bottom of wok when stir frying Salt will pull out the liquid from the vegetables. Avoid using salt when stir frying, add when it's finished cooking. |

Could it be bad black olive that I've eaten? @PeterTaylor American olives are NOT fermented and more mild. Non-American olives are usually fermented and have a stronger flavour. Both are commonly pickled in brine. |
