May 10	comment	Barbequeing with a charcoal grill Aren't chars supposed to cook by radiating heat and not by flames? It sounds like it was more of a problem with the combustion of the coal than lack of coals.
Feb 8	comment	Is it possible to cook a whole fish in a dishwasher? I have actually done this, and we did it exactly because we wanted to emulate sous vide on the cheap. Was it sous vide? no, but was worth it? definitively! Vacuum seal the salmon with spices and run a regular wash (no airdrying will be needed) with no soap.
Feb 8	comment	Why put a stone in the soup? In Denmark we have a fairy tale/folklore telling the story of a woman being fooled by a salesman showing how to cook soup on a stone. My guess is that - it is - for the irony.
