Made our turkey in an oil-less infrared fryer. The turkey came out great, but the drippings (almost a full quart) were not only like jello, but a raspberry color. Have made many turkeys in the oven, never had a gelled, redish mess as drippings. Was this safe to use and why was it raspberry colored?

  • Wish I had thought of a photo, but no. But there was about a quart of "liquid", which is more than usual - but the cooking method was infrared in an oil-less cooker. – Jan Dec 3 '19 at 18:26
