Mar 30, 2022 at 14:51 comment added Steve Just a thought that wasn't given in other answers, but is not worth an answer itself: In addition to whatever solvent you use (soap/hot water, isopropyl alcohol, etc), toss in some small pebbles or rock salt, cap the thing, and shake the hell out of it. The pebbles/rock salt will help by physically scrubbing the surface as well. Works great for certain glasswear where it's difficult to get inside ...
