So, induction breaks even at best compared to gas running cost wise but likely to be worse from a Total Cost of Ownership perspective given that induction hobs are more expensive. Not clear on the longevity/reliability of induction hobs, all I found was an NAHB study that puts it at 10 years for induction, 15 for gas. | |
